Melton - Level 3 First Aid at Work Requalification (RQF) Course Code FAWRM02 - 2 Day Course Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th March 2024 - £120.00 NO VAT

Course runs from 9am-430pm. Tea, coffee, and light refreshments provided. Candidates should provide own lunch. Course held at Skillset First Aid, 2 Digby Drive, Melton Mowbray LE13 0RQ

This qualification is based on the HSE training standard for delivery of First Aid at Work courses for the purpose of the Health & Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. Learners undertaking this course should already hold a valid and suitable First Aid at Work qualification. Details will be required at course commencement.

The qualification consists of two units. Emergency First Aid in the Workplace as well as Recognition & Management of illness & injury in the Workplace.

On successful completion of the qualification, the learner will have attained the knowledge and skills to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations in the Workplace.

• Management of unconscious casualty - Recovery Position

• First Aid Kits

Delegates will be required to have reasonable level of fitness and be able to perform ground based practical assessments during the course. A reasonable understanding of English will be required as there will be two multiple choice question papers during the course that form part of the assessment process. Candidates are advised to notify Skillset First Aid prior to the course, of any individual learning needs.

On successful completion learners will be issued with a First Aid at Work Certificate valid for 3years. Annual refresher training is recommended.
